　　主旨句的意思是“挑战权威对个人发展和社会利益都有好处”，这是一个主系表结构，结尾的时候我们需要把论点再强调一句，为了体现语言的多样性，这时候就不能把原来的句子照抄下来，一种办法是把这句话改成一个表示因果关系的并列句，Independent minds should be greatly cherished as they could benefit individual improvement and national interests.

　　People or group who cherish the spirit of independent thought could succeed easier than those who prefer to follow the public views.

　　SAT 写作中同义转换方法二，替换同义词或短语，同义词替换也可以通过转换词性来实现。

　　例如，主旨句中“挑战”我们可以用question ，fight against，resist，oppose，stand up to等，“权威”可以说成是the authoritative people，experts，the majority，the public，“重要”可以用crucial，vital，essential，key用这种办法，both …and 可以用as well as，together with，not only… but also，这样我们的结尾句可以写成：

　　Questioning the authoritative people is crucial not only for individual success but also for social advancement.

　　也可以写成，

　　Resistance to the public views is essential for personal improvement as well as social progress.

　　还可以改为，

　　Standing up to the majority people’s ideas is the key for personal achievement and social development.
